About Leading Men Who Cook

Imagine 200 guests gathered together at the Roseburg Event Center for a unique culinary fundraiser, 'Leading Men Who Cook' hosted by LEAD Inc. On Saturday, November 3rd from 6-9 p.m. there will be 30 chef stations positioned around the perimeter of the event center, all manned by local men who are centers of influence in our community. Grant County's Leading Men compete for the title Champion Chef as they prepare some of their favorite dishes for you. All will be serving their favorite dish and earning tips (donations) from guests to benefit the nonprofit of their choice. Tip monies earned by chefs raised more than $20,000 for 30 local charities in 2017. Local nonprofits are encouraged to provide a member of their board or staff to serve as a chef and collect tips for their organization.

If you serve on a local charity board or are passionate about a local non-profit, take advantage of this event to raise money for your cause.  This event was designed to benefit many organizations in Grant County.  Enter a chef to represent your group.  Brainstorm with your organization how to take advantage of the online tip jars, available Oct. 6-Nov. 3, plus help fill your chefs tip jar with donations the night of the event.  Use social media and creativity to to promote your organization and fill your tip jar.  Imagine the potential!
