for the Future
LEAD Inc., or Leadership, Education, and Development, is a non-profit organization that develops and trains community leaders through various programs. Our goal is to prepare people of all ages to serve as volunteers and take on leadership roles to preserve a strong and healthy community within Grant County, Indiana.

LEAD Inc.’s goal is to preserve the strong and healthy community of Grant County. With three universities, a community full of talented and caring citizens, strong business and manufacturing partnerships, and a rich heritage of leadership, it’s vital we develop the next generation of leaders.
To do this, we utilize leadership classes—Leadership Grant County and YES! Network—hosted at the historic Thompson-Ray House. We also organize an annual community fundraiser: Leaders Who Cook. Learn about them below!
