About The Adult Leadership Class

Grant County’s community leadership program has graduated more than 40 classes since it began in 1982. The class was formed to create a new pipeline of community volunteers and leaders.

Students meet one full day per month for nine months, exploring Grant County’s Commerce & Industry, Health & Human Services, Community Service, Education, Criminal Justice, Grant County History, State Government and Community Leadership.

Personal leadership topics are studied and each class member serves on a local board of directors. Participants are stunned by what they learn about their community and reach the end of the program proud to call Grant County home.
